My Oldie for Fffriday

Hello Everyone
I can't believe it's the start of October! There's a definite chill in the air now isn't there

Thank you for visiting, I appreciate your call and love to read your feedback. It's been a busy week for me. Work was manic, We had a huge issue with the internet, which meant a lot of jobs were delayed until later in the week. I still had plenty to do but it also meant a lot of catching up to do too.

I also had a couple of appointments - one the optician to have a re-test because I cannot get along with my new glasses. She decided that the reading strength was wrong which was probably having a knock on effect for my middle distance vision - ho hum! new prescription now on order AND she discovered that I have very small cataracts in both eyes. Oh the joys of growing old!
Secondly, l had my usual foot check (being diabetic I have an annual check). At least she did my flu jab at the same time.

Anyway, today is my day for posting an oldie inspired by Erika at Snappycrafts This is a card made for a friend who loves good whiskey. I think I had seen something similar on Pinterest or Getting Personal.com It is all made with Serif. Even some of the text has been "turned into metal" using Serif. The corners are "fall away pieces" from Spellbinders Marvellous Squares

I hope you all have a good week end, not much on the cards today. We are going dancing tonight and tomorrow afternoon

  1. A lovely oldie from you today Karen. What a clever idea for your friend's card.

I hope your glasses get sorted. My hubby is blind in one eye and a few years ago he couldn't get on with his new readers. It turned out they'd put the lens in upside down! Have a lovely weekend. Barbxx

  3. Hi Karen and thanks for joining me this weekend with an oldie. I love your fine whiskey card, I'm sure your friend would have thought it was fab. "Gently matured and mellowed with age!"
Hope you have a super weekend, hugs Erika. x

Love your pleated card too - still on my list of things to try, lol. Wow, loads of lovely new stash from Ally Pally, I'm hoping that one year (maybe next) I'll be able to get there too. Hugs xxx
